About me

Soleilrium Studio was created by Hanie Min, a Korean Canadian ceramicist residing in the prairies of Edmonton, Alberta. While her full-time job is in a hospital setting as a clinician, Hanie has always enjoyed expressing her creativity through the arts. She started her pottery hobby in 2022 in an attempt to create beautiful planters for her many plants (@soleilrium), and quickly fell deeply in love with the process! Since then, she has been making various one of a kind ceramic creations inspired by everything she sees in her everyday life. Her goal is to create ceramics that not only pair well with plants, but also inspire and resonate with others, and ultimately elevate the everyday experience.
The name 'Soleilrium' was born from Hanie's name (해니) meaning "Sun" in Korean, translated to french (Soleil), combined with the word 'rium,' which means 'room.' In short, 'Soleilrium' means 'Sun room,' or, 'Hanie's room.'
Soleilrium Studios is located in Treaty Six Territory.
